31 January 2026 - Your feedback from the Open Meeting

In a quick poll following this month's Open Meeting, we received another resounding vote of encouragement for the campaign to save The Lamb.

Do local residents still want us to fight for the future of our local pub? The answer is a very clear YES.

Here are the results from a survey among those who attended this month's Open Meeting and update on The Lamb pub.

We asked:

  • How helpful was the Open Meeting presentation, on a score of 0 to 5 (where 5 is best)?

    Out of 52 respondents, 45 people scored it 5, and another seven scored it 4.

  • How important do you think a pub is to the local community?

    56 people replied. 44 said "very important", nine said "somewhat important", one was "not sure", and two people felt it was "not that important".

  • How supportive are you of the pub project?

    56 people replied. 48 people said they were "strongly supportive", and another five said they were "somewhat supportive". Two people felt "ambivalent" and one person was "somewhat against". There was no one who was "strongly against".
