2 October 2025 - Get yer bottles out!
Bottles of nice (drinkable) stuff are needed for the Tombola at the Craft Fayre on 12 October. This kicks off our fundraising campaign.
Our fundraising campaign is starting this month.
We are starting from zero. The Craft Fayre organiser, Gillian Sapwell, has very kindly invited us to run the Tombola at next weekend's event at Stoke Goldington Village Hall (Sunday 12 October, 11am-4.30pm). This could really help with some of our incidental expenses while we set up the Community Benefit Society.
Look out for the fundraising team with wheelbarrows this weekend, or drop something into our bottle bin at the Friday night bar!
Bottles can also be dropped off at 2 High Street, Stoke Goldington before Friday 10 October.
Please give generously. Beer, wine, spirits, soft drinks needed please...
A huge thank you to everyone who came forward to volunteer their time, energy and ideas to help us raise funds to buy and refurbish The Lamb as a community-owned venue. The fundraising team is being led by Danielle Kipling, and her team has already got many ideas for other fundraising events throughout this year and next.

In the meantime, the steering group is also working with our professional advisers on developing a Community Share Offer. Further information will be published on this website this month.
